USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A couple of days back it was reported that Anupam Kher had been conferred with the prestigious Padma Bhushan Award. However days after winning the award, we hear that the actor's Pakistani visa application has been denied by the Pakistan High Court in Delhi. Apparently Kher along with 17 others had applied for the Pakistani visa in order to attend the Karachi Literary Festival that is to be held on February 5.
Kher claims that he has been singled out from the 18 delegates who applied for the visa stating that he is very sad and disappointed that out of 18 participants, 17 were given visa and he was denied. However reacting to the same, the Pakistan High Commission has claimed that Kher had not even applied for a Pakistani visa. Commenting on the same Manzoor Ali Memon, the spokesperson for the Pakistan High Commission claimed that Kher has not submitted a visa application.
As per reports Kher's visa had been denied by the Pakistan High Court citing security reasons.
