It’s all too easy to allow Old Man Winter to get the best of you when the temperature drops — but don’t give in just yet. You may argue that trekking outside during the wintertime shouldn’t count towards your style cred (and it’s true to an extent — we’d rather have all our fingers and toes than this season’s cropped, thin jacket), but sometimes you can have the best of both worlds.

To prove it, we turned our lens to the showgoers at Berlin Fashion Week — who were dealing with below-freezing temps like it was no big deal. True, we can’t all be superhuman (like Marie Luise Schäffer, who was somehow able to go without tights!), but this should provide you with the motivation you need to swap out your Shackleton-style puffer for something a little chicer.
