Acharya Sri Khadi MadamaWeekly Book Installment: Installment # 2

Principle # 1

THE FIELD

The Field is everywhere. It occupies all space, such as in an office, home, and outside. The Field is present in every living creature and even material objects, which give off a type of energetic field of their own. It’s constantly responding in a homeopathic manner, meaning that it responds in like to the stimuli it receives.

We are uncomfortable when someone enters our ‘space’ and we feel an unfriendly intention.  What we are reacting to is the energy that is projected into our field of sensitivity, hence, the Yogic reference to the senses, and one’s ability to exert control of the immediate environment.  The Yogi controls his environment through his senses, which are controlled by his emotions.  The heart is the main driver of the emotions and is connected to the five senses.  The breath is the key to controlling the emotions, which is Principle Two.

The Field is all around us at all times, but most of us do not know to what extent we effect it either to our benefit or to our detriment, and more importantly, how we affect the personal Field that surrounds our physical body and that of those we encounter.  We are often unaware of any negative effect we are having on others, which may have a deleterious effect on our future relationship with them, either personally or professionally.

If we are desperate or ingenuous, the astutely developed business professional will sense this right away and there goes that great new job or contract.  You are invisibly sending out the energy that they want to avoid.  Out body language plays an important part in The Field, which is explored in Principle Three.
