The Deputy State Governor Hussein Maar Nyuot has announced that the projects in Waat and Warkok seek to boost agricultural production in the state.

“We have availed two tractors to help the locals in land preparation and in a bid to tackle food insecurity. We will expand the service to other counties next year”, he said.

He added that similar a project is being undertaken in Bor Couny.

He attributed the relative calm to the ongoing disarmament in the state.

He announced that the state government will deploy security forces across the eleven counties to boost security.

The Deputy Governor at the same time outlined the government’s efforts to improve infrastructure in the state.
