Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Brampton woman.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, 51 year-old, Georgette GAHUNIA, of Brampton, left her home at approximately 12:45 p.m. Later in the day, Ms. GAHUNIA called from a phone booth in Scarborough. Investigators would like to speak with anyone who knows the whereabouts of Ms. GAHUNIA.

Georgette GAHUNIA is described as female, Asian, 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 150 lbs., with a medium build and black shoulder length hair. She has brown eyes and wears glasses. Investigators do not know what clothing Ms. GAHUNIA is wearing.

Ms. GAHUNIA is operating a brown 2000 4-door Toyota Corolla, with licence plate number BLNX 284.

Police and family are concerned for Ms. GAHUNIA’s well being due to ongoing medical issues.

UPDATE: Georgette has been located.
