Ricky Benitez was announced today as the Miracles Head Coach/General Manager. Ricky has 27 years of coaching experience and 13 years on a professional level. He is a proven winner by his record of 400 wins and 95 losses. He has either won the Championship or taken his Team to the Championship round everywhere he has coached. He has won Championships in five different countries and has the most wins as Head Coach in WBA History.

Kim Blanco, the teams President, said, “We are excited about announcing our newest addition to the Moncton Miracles – Ricky Benitez as our Head Coach/General Manager. He has a very diverse background. Not only is he a proven winner on the court, he was also a part of the United States Army Special Operations Response Team.

“He brings a different style to our organization with his approach. We are excited about kicking off the 2012-2013 NBL of Canada season on Sunday, November 4th at 2:00pm with our new coach.”

Ricky will be attending the Combine Workouts on August 25th and 26th in Toronto. The Miracles have the second overall pick in the 2012 NBL Canada draft on Aug. 27.
