The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that forward Matt Frattin has been recalled from the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies.
Frattin, 27, was held pointless in six regular season games with the Maple Leafs earlier this season. Since being reassigned to the Marlies, the Edmonton, Alberta native has collected 13 points (10 goals, three assists) in 22 games. Frattin has appeared in 132 career NHL regular season games registering 35 points (17 goals, 18 assists) and 44 penalty minutes.
The Maple Leafs return to the ice tonight when they travel to San Jose for a 10:30 p.m. (ET) game against the Sharks.
