Toronto Maple Leafs trade Versteeg to Philadelphia Flyers for two draft picks in 2011

Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Monday that the hockey club has traded forward Kris Versteeg to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Philadelphia’s first and third round draft picks, respectively, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

The Leafs originally acquired Versteeg along with Bill Sweatt from the Chicago Blackhawks on June 30, 2010 in exchange for Viktor Stalberg, Chris DiDomenico and Phillippe Paradis.

Versteeg played 53 games for the Maple Leafs season registering 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points, along with 29 penalty minutes.
