Glendale Youth Orchestra Season Finale with Guests Brasil Brazil
Alex Theatre (Glendale, CA)
The Glendale Youth Orchestra finishes their season with a concert at the historic Alex Theatre. These rising musical stars will play an assortment of Mozart works, including his Symphony No. 35, known as “Haffner,” and concerto excerpts for horn and piano. They’ll be joined by popular Brazilian jazz/pop duo Brasil Brazil for a selection of classic South American tunes. “Hoe-Down,” from Aaron Copland’s famous Rodeo, opens the concert, which is conducted by Brad Keimach.
