See Through Trio will release their new album Parallel Lights with a concert at the Array Studio.

See Through Trio is composed of Tania Gill (piano), Pete Johnston (bass) and Karen Ng. Formed in 2004, the trio’s music is informed equally by the free jazz innovators of the 1960s such Carla Bley, Jimmy Giuffre and Ornette Coleman, and the progressive folk and rock music that emerged from the UK in the 1970s. Parallel Lights is See Through Trio’s fourth album, and first with saxophonist Karen Ng, who replaced Mark Laver in 2013. It was recorded in March 2014 with Jean Martin as producer and engineer, and features nine new compositions by bassist Pete Johnston.
We will be joined by special guests Paul Newman (saxophone), Jake Oelrichs (drums), and Mike Smith (synth).
