To honour the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and the end of the Second World War, Second Story Press presents three new books and two recent titles that focus on the experiences of the war both in Europe and at home in Canada.
Highlights to include readings from The Choice by Kathy Clark, War in My Town by E. Graziani and The Farmerettes by Gisela Tobien Sherman. Also featured at the event will be a reading from Ken Setterington from his Canadian Jewish Book Award-winning book Branded by the Pink Triangle, as well as a video presentation of The Magician of Auschwitz, written by Kathy Kacer and illustrated by Gillian Newland. Following the presentations, Kathy Clark, E. Graziani, and Gisela Tobien Sherman, and Ken Setterington will be signing books. Refreshments will be served.
