This Sunday, May 1, 2016, some of Toronto’s finest musicians come together to celebrate the music and life of Prince (1958 – 2016), one of the most influential artists of the past century.

Sensing the need for artists and the public to communally gather and grieve this momentous loss, Toronto promoters Quisha Wint and Andrew Craig joined forces to create this event. Between the two of them, they have produced highly-successful tributes to several luminary artists including Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, and Luther Vandross.

Don’t miss your chance to hear the greatest Prince jams performed LIVE!

Confirmed artists include:

Trust Chen Pow (Vocalist and Billboard charting songwriter/producer)

Jennie Laws (Opening artist for Bruno Mars and background vocalist for INXS and Michael Buble)

Ricky Tillo (Guitarist for Lady Gaga)

Calvin Beale (Bassist for Prince, Jully Black, Kardinal Offishall)

Alana Bridgewater (We Will Rock You, Wizard of Oz in London)

Shamakah Ali (Drummer for Al Green, Chaka Khan, George Clinton)

… and more special guests to be announced

All backed by a stellar band, under the direction of Andrew Craig.

DJ KC will spin Prince classics and rarities starting at 6pm. The live performance starts promptly at 7pm, and will be one long set of unforgettable Prince moments. Following the performance, the DJ will continue to spin out the evening.

In keeping with Prince’s philanthropic efforts, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to a local children’s charity.
