Episode – 58

Hour by hour with tons of Pink Elbow Grease, the painting, paperhanging, sewing and fixing got done as more and more Divine Beings came from Yoga*Land. Hanuman arrived with all of his monkeys, who quickly painted the outside of the house a beautiful shade of Pink Coral with sunny yellow shutters. Nayayina’s snakes arrived all with brushes attached to their underbellies to polish the floors and then to paint the window trim. In the kitchen, Gracie made a huge pot of Pink lemonade to keep everyone going. This went on for Friday night and all through Saturday with the Divine Beings sending out for Pizza and Fries. That is Pink Pizza and Pink Fries. And, of course, Pink cheese and Pink hard boiled eggs for Musika.

The house looked wonderful. Fortunately, there were no neighbors so no one could see what was going on or who the strange visitors were who were shaking the house all the way to it’s very foundation. Nor could they hear the strange and wonderful music that was being piped in from Yoga*Land. It was all very merry, indeed.

On Sunday morning, when things were just about all finished, Gracie had another surprise. For who should come through the Pink Time Tunnel but Das. She was so happy to see him and asked immediately about the school. He smiled and explained that it was just going to be fixed up and that she shouldn’t worry. This made Gracie very happy. For although she liked having strange, huge Pink creatures showing up in her room from time to time to teach her Yoga, she also would like to be able to join a regular class. Das assured her that all was in order, but then, out of nowhere, an empty paint can slipped out of Lord Matsyasa’s fin and came hurling at Das, only to hit him very hard in the head, knocking him out.

“Quick” cried out Lakshmi, “get some Pink Smelling Salts”, which came directly through the Pink Time Tunnel and were administered by Lakshmi, herself, under Das’ nose. He moaned a but mumbling “Where am I?” He tried to focus his eyes on Gracie who was standing over him, a very concerned look on his face. “Gracie, is that you?” he asked. “Yes, Das sir, it is”. She replied. “Das? Who’s Das?”. He said. Obviously he didn’t know that he was Das. But he knew that Gracie was Gracie. “You look alot like my daughter Gracie would look if she were your age.” Gracie sat there on the floor in disbelief. She hadn’t seen her father since she was nine years old. But now she realized that the man who had been so kind to her all this time, was her father. She had felt that he was familiar, but in those years and being in the war, he had changed, especially from her childhood perception of him. The two of them just stared at each other for quite some time before Gracie burst out into tears, throwing herself onto his chest and calling out “Dad, it’s you! I can’t believe it.”

What made this scene so amazing was that in all the noise and excitement, no one had heard the limosine arrive with Gracie’s mother. No one realized that she had even entered the house, let alone the living room where all were gathered together into one great spectacle of unbelievable sight. So, she passed out. Right there, right on the floor. She has seen all the Divine Beings from Yoga*Land, had seen her husband for the first time in years, whom she had been told in Washington was still missing and her tired, sad brain just couldn’t take any more in, so down she went with Musika, nearby, just making it with a small pillow in time to cushion the fall. Moments later she came to, looked around again and again passed out.
