Jermaine Derby and Sealand White shot dead in an elevator in Toronto

On Saturday, October 9, 2010, at approximately 2:05 a.m., police were called to 605 Whiteside Place for unknown trouble.

It is reported that:

– the victims were at an apartment building at 605 Whiteside Place,

-they had just left a party at that location and were heading down the elevator to the main floor,

– the elevator opened on the main floor and both victims were shot by unknown suspect(s),

– the suspect(s) left in an unknown direction.

It is further reported that:

– one of the victims made his way through the front entrance of the apartment building to the front driveway where he collapsed,

– the other victim remained on the elevator and went to the upper floor where he exited and collapsed on the floor.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victims are identified as:

1- Jermaine Derby, 19, of Toronto
2- Sealand White, 15, of Toronto

  1. Things like this could be avocomment_IDed if 1. Parents took more responsibility for the kcomment_IDs and 2. The police are not doing their jobs. They never do catch the shooter. People at that party should be held and questioned we all know someone saw something. This is just wrong. Sealand was just a child.
