Katherine Jackson put on a brave face and acted like her courtroom loss wasn’t the end of the world. But it was for her lawyers. Radaronline pointed out that the Jackson lawyers took the case on contingency – meaning they worked for free and if they won they would take 33% of whatever Katherine was awarded. That could have been 484 million if Katherine had gotten the 1.6 billion she asked for. But the lawyers lost and got nothing. Their years of work would have cost around 20 million if Katherine had paid them. Now we’re waiting to see if AEG Live sues Katherine to pay THEIR legal bills. They should.
