While time and again Rishi Kapoor has been criticized and even trolled on social media for voicing out his opinions, the veteran star hasn’t spoken much about the outrage over the ban on Pakistani artists. But the actor has now decided to break the silence when questioned about the ban.

According to Rishi Kapoor, whilst the Pakistani artists received work permit visas initially considering the political scenario then, now the situation has changed. The star further expressed his disappointment when the Pakistani artists didn’t denounce the recent act of terrorism in Uri. While he is of the opinion that doing something that will escalate the matter can turn fatal for both countries, he also retained that if Pakistan is a terrorist state he wouldn’t want to work with them. In fact, the actor also announced that he was approached for a Pakistani film but he denied it because he was in support and in sync with the government. Having said all of that, Rishi however also agreed with the film industry when it came to films that have already been made and added that doing anything to such films will only lead to losses. Hence this decision should be applied in the future.

Interestingly, Rishi Kapoor worked with Dharma Productions’ whose next film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been trapped in the controversy owing to the presence of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. In fact, the actor has also worked with Fawad who played the role of his grandson in Kapoor & Sons.
