Cowabunga! Ranveer Singh flaunts his chiselled body as he beefs up for Simmba

Ranveer Singh is definitely one of the most prominent actors of today’s generation. The actor gives it all to his roles and has undergone an insane transformation for the films. But one can’t deny that when it comes to his work, he’s extremely focused and dedicated. The actor is currently prepping for his next film Simmba which will be helmed by Rohit Shetty.

For the role of a quirky cop Sangram Bhalerao, Ranveer Singh is supposed to beef up and look very big for the role. As he is working out and shaping up for the role, he recently shared his gym picture as Monday motivation. He is seen sporting a pair of Ninja Turtle-printed shorts and a headband, he captioned the image, “Cowabunga, dude! #turtlepower #mondaymotivation.”

At an event earlier this month, Ranveer Singh talked about his collaboration with Rohit Shetty. Sharing his excitement, Ranveer said, “Simmba is my first collaboration with Rohit Shetty which I know people are really excited about and me more than anyone to be diving into the masala genre with the king of the genre. It is an incredible opportunity that I am extremely excited to be commencing… shooting in about a month’s time. He is very keen that I have big muscles in the film. He has told me — Jab tu wardi pehenega na to wardi phatni chahiye,” he said. Simmba will star Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer and will release on December 28, 2018.”

On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus film, Padmaavat with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. He finally wrapped up Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead and is slated to release on February 14, 2019. The actor will soon start shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba starring Sara Ali Khan in the lead. The film is set for December 28, 2018 release.
