To add a youthful spirit in the upcoming Bollywood film “Student of The Year”, Karan Johar has recreated the spell of old peppy hit ‘Disco Deewane’ of famous Pakistani singer Nazia Hasan (late).

“The Disco Song” in film “Student of The Year” is the rework of Nazia Hasan’s original disco deewaney hit number, which is licensed under Saregama India Limited and with credit given to Nazia Hasan.

Keeping in view the popularity of Nazia Hasan’s energetic sound track Disco Deewane, Karan Johar has remade the song composed by duo Vishal-Shekar and sung by Benny Dayal, and Sunidhi Chauhan along with vocals of Nazia Hassan. The new version also has lot of new lyrics and music to take youngsters on a perky ride.

Film ‘Student Of The Year‘ is the combined venture of Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan, in which they have strived to add the magic of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, with three newcomers Varun Dhawan (director David Dhawan’s son), Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt (daughter of Mahesh Bhatt) and also Soni Razdan.
