USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After Aamir Khan's take on India's latest catchword 'intolerance', it is Shah Rukh Khan, who is at the receiving end for the same word. Today, members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) started protesting against the ongoing shooting of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film Raees in Bhuj, in lieu of his earlier remarks on "intolerance".

Readers may recall that, earlier Shah Rukh Khan had said "Intolerance religiously…not being secular in this country is the worst crime you can do as a patriot". He also stated that the box-office performance of Dilwale was hit due to his comments about intolerance. Post his comments about intolerance, he retracted his statements a few days after, stating that his statement was just misconstrued and that he never said that India was intolerant.

Yesterday, a handful of VHP activists had handed over a memorandum to the Bhuj's district officers with a demand that they should withdraw the permission given for the shooting of the film. Today, as a protest against the film, VHP activists shouted slogans against Shah Rukh Khan and also tore and burnt his posters. Meanwhile, Ranchod Bharwad (General Secretary- Gujarat VHP) said that VHP will never forgive Shah Rukh Khan for his take on the intolerance issue.
