Only a day after a judge’s announced decision of a controversial law suit again Toronto’s Mayor Rob Ford, ordering him to leave his office in coming fifteen days, he was surprisingly found enjoying on the field. Ford was witnessed drenching in sweat while he coached football, a sport he undoubtedly loves, but also played a key role in the conflict of interest case leading to his political downfall.

The judge, Justice Charles T. Hackland, announced the decision on Monday that Ford’s council seat shall vacated. This law suit was filed by a Toronto resident, accusing Ford of soliciting donations for his football foundation using city letterhead. On Monday evening, few hours after the ruling to was announced and highlighted basically in all international headlines, Ford was spotted in a hooded sweatshirt fighting the almost zero temperatures. He was seen caching a practice session of the high school team he coaches, the Don Bosco Eagles.

The FrontPage of a local newspaper’s Tuesday issue featured a cartoon character of Ford dropping head over heels Charlie Brown-style after a missed kick under the headline: “Good Grief.” Playing the role of Lucy and snatching the football away at the last second was Hackland.

Ford is scheduled to be of assistance to the city for celebrating the Toronto Argonauts’ Grey Cup victory at a downtown parade that will end in a celebration at city hall on Tuesday morning. Ford is acting unbelievably calm and quite given the fact that he officially has only 13 days left in office, pending any possible appeals or stay applications.
