Investigators with the York Regional Police Special Victims Unit have charged a 63-year-old driving instructor with sexual assault following an incident involving one of his students.
On September 5, 2014, police launched an investigation after receiving a complaint from a 33-year-old female that her driving instructor had touched her sexually during several of her driving lessons.
The investigation revealed the suspect operates an independent driving school that offers services mainly to newcomers to Canada specifically in the Persian communities.
Investigators believe there may be more victims who have received driving instruction from the suspect that have not come forward and are urging anyone with information to call police.
On Thursday September 25, 2014, the suspect was arrested in Richmond Hill without incident.

– Enayathollah Ghodsianzadeh, 63, of Toronto
CHARGES:
– Sexual Assault
Mr. Ghodsianzadeh is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket on Friday September 26, 2014.
