Producer Quincy Jones Honored With Concert at L.A. Jazz Society

Over the course of his more than 60 years in the music industry, producer and composer Quincy Jones has racked up a record 79 Grammy Award nominations, 28 wins and another seven Academy Award nominations for Best Original Song and Best Original Score. In this event at the Montalbán Theater in Hollywood, the L.A. Jazz Society recognizes Jones’ many years of mentorship and support for young musicians with a two-hour tribute to his work, featuring performances by artists including Siedah Garrett, Emily Bear and the Clayton Brothers, among others.
