On September 25, 2011, at approximately 4:00 am, a 23 year-old Penticton female was walking on Industrial Ave. near Atkinson Street, Penticton when she met an unknown male. The male started up a conversation with her as they both continued to walk west on Industrial. The male suddenly grabbed the female, spun her around and ripped off her pants and attempted intercourse with her while he held her by the throat. The female fought her attacker and managed to escape and get to a friend’s place.
The male is described as Caucasian, late 20’s or early 30’s, 5’8″, medium build, 170 lbs, with a deep voice, nice teeth, clean shaven, short brown hair, looked like he was wearing eye liner, blue bead piercing on top of right ear, wearing a navy blue jacket with Adidas written across the chest and stripes on the arms, white t-shirt, old light blue ripped jeans and runners.
Penticton RCMP are continuing their investigation into the incident.
