Aamir Khan is flying high with the massive success of his film Dangal. We had reported earlier this week that the Haryana government had made Mahavir Singh Phogat biopic tax-free in the state. Now, we have learned that Haryana government will screen Dangal at a film festival organized across the state as part of the state’s golden jubilee celebrations.

On Monday, Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar got a chance to watch Dangal at the special screening with Aamir Khan in New Delhi. On Tuesday, he announced that a film festival will be organized in Haryana during the Swarna Jayanti Year where Dangal movie will be screened at different places all over the state. He said that a film like Dangal will not only promote traditional sports like wrestling but will also give a boost to people including girls to get involved in sports.

Khattar further added that Dangal has made an impressive effort to showcase the struggle waged by the daughters of Haryana and their father. The dialogues in Haryanvi dialect have instantly drawn people to the movie. He also added that the film also helps in ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ program which launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Panipat last year

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal features Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, who broke social barriers and encouraged his daughters to take up wrestling and win gold for the country.
