Winnipeg JetsThe Winnipeg Jets hockey club is proud to announce that defenceman Dustin Byfuglien has earned a spot in the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 29 at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. 

Byfuglien, 26, will be making his second straight appearance in the NHL All-Star Game. He currently leads Winnipeg Jets defencemen in points with 24 (6g, 18a) in 35 games played this season. At the close of fan votes for the 2012 NHL All-Star Game, Byfuglien also led all Winnipeg Jets with 149,405 votes. 

Byfuglien was acquired by the franchise in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks during the 2010 NHL offseason. He was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the eighth round, 245th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
