Glendale Youth Orchestra Showcases Classical Favorites in Concert

Alex Theatre (Glendale, CA)

Celebrating its 23rd season of highlighting blossoming young talent, the Glendale Youth Orchestra will feature a program of true classics in its second concert of the year. Led by conductor Brad Keimach, the Orchestra will feature works from Beethoven and Mendelssohn, including the second and third movements of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto performed by 16-year-old violinist Sarah Worden. In addition to the music, there will be a silent auction during intermission — featuring a host of interesting items — to benefit the Orchestra’s scholarship program.
