Ileana D’Cruz, who seems to have had a good 2017 with films like Mubarakan and Baadshaho, recently had taken for a trip to Melbourne. The actress there yet again explored the chef in her as she is said to have baked some special cookies for beau, Australian photographer Andrew Kneebone.
Ileana D’Cruz, during her recent trip, baked special teddy cookies which he relished. In fact, we hear that the actress is a foodie and even loves cooking. Talking about the same, Ileana said, “I love to cook and I love to eat, I love feeding people too, so it’s all win win! Andrew loves the pizza I make. Creme brulee is also a favourite. In fact, it has become my signature Christmas treat”. She further went to reveal that her beau is a good cook too. “Andrew cooks a lot as well but he has a very different style of cooking,” she informed.
Ileana credits her love for cooking to her mother. “There was always a passion for cooking in me so I just kept trying new recipes and picking up new tricks while watching cooking shows. My mother is a fantastic cook so I’m massively inspired by her. She’s taught me a lot as well,” she added.
Considering that she also likes to maintain a fit style, the actress also promoted baking at home. “Best part about knowing how to cook and bake is you can make healthy treats for yourself at home! Because you know exactly what ingredients you’re using you can make a whole array of healthy food at home. My new favourite is homemade apple chips. Your brain thinks you’re having something crunchy and unhealthy but it’s super healthy and not at all bad for you,” stated Ileana.
Furthermore, she also considers cooking therapeutic. “It’s immensely therapeutic. I cherish those days I have free time to cook at home and just relax. There’s nothing better than the smell of freshly baked bread at home so I would totally recommend people to get off their couches and stop ordering in and start cooking! It’s the most rewarding thing ever,” she maintained.
Although we haven’t received a glimpse of her latest experiment, one can definitely get a sneak peek into Ileana D’Cruz’s baking and cooking skills on social media. The actress, being an active social media user, often shares her baking experiments on her Instagram page.
