Even though the film Aisha didn’t really ruffle any major feather at the box office, it gave Bollywood two names to watch out for. One is Sonam Kapoor, while the other being Rhea Kapoor. While Sonam has been on a film signing spree, Rhea wants to take each day as it comes.

That’s why, post Aisha, even though Rhea was offered many rom-coms, sex comedies and even chick flicks, she waited for the right script, that apparently has come in the form of Mainak Dhar’s novel ‘Herogiri’, which revolves around an ordinary man possessing extraordinary powers. Rhea, who has recently bought the rights of the book, said that when she read the book, she was highly entertained and thought it would be exciting to keep the genre of superhero films alive.

While the film is to be directed by Karan Boolani (who had worked as an associate director for Aisha), Aisha‘s screenplay writer Devika Bhagat, will be writing the screenplay for this film as well.
