Toronto Acupuncturist Raymond Chow facing sexual assault charges

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to the arrest of an acupuncturist in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

– on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a 28-year-old woman sought treatment at Suiki Health Beauty Acupuncture Centre, at 428 Dundas Street West

– during the treatment the woman was sexually assaulted by a practitioner

On Thursday, March 22, 2012, Jin Wen Zhou, 41, also known as Raymond Chow, of Toronto, was charged with:

1. Sexual Assault

He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, March 23, 2012, at 10 a.m., room 101.

Update: It is now alleged that:

– a second woman sought treatment at Suiki Health Beauty Acupuncture Centre, in the Dundas Street West/Spadina Avenue area

– during treatment, the practitioner sexually assaulted the woman

Jin Wen Zhou, also known as Raymond Chow, 41, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) two counts of sexual assault.

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Friday, April 20, 2012, room 111, at 2 p.m.

Police believe there may be more victims.
