One of the members of the National Servicemen Force (NSF), aging 21 years, could not survive an attack while he was doing exercise in the training session on Tuesday.
The deceased, Lee Rui Feng Dominique Sarron, is reported to experience breathing problems during the exercise session where he expired before getting the treatment. He belonged to the private 3rd Battalion of the Singapore Infantry Regiment at the Murai Urban Training Facility which is situated in Lim Chu Kang. The Ministry of Defence made declaration of the death of the member and mentioned that the time he started feeling breathing problem was reported to be 12 30 pm. He lost consciousness within the next three minutes and was immediately attended by one of the health representator of the facility and gave him initial medical help whereas arrangement for him being taken to the nearby hospital were made. He was admitted into the Sungei Gedong Medical Centre at about 12 46 pm.
Lee was further transported to the National University Hospital (NUH) for proper medical treatment. One of the doctors of the NSF was present with Lee throughout the time he was in the medical center and transported to NUH. He died at NUH and the time of death was announced to be 2:05 pm.
