The Peruvian ensemble known as Inca brings the joyous music and colorful costumed dance of their country to the outdoor stage of the Ford and teams it with performances based on the passionate Argentinian tango to create a steamy summer salute to South American culture. Along with Inca’s traditional Cusco, Carnaval de Tinta and Carnaval de Umapata folk dances, vocalist Laura Valle, instrumentalist Ara Tokatlian of Arco Iris and Juan Pedro Estanga’s Afrotango Ensemble will entertain with updated versions of Argentine classics, while Jorge Visconti’s Buenos Aires Tango Dance Group shows off their signature moves. Come early and enjoy a picnic on the grounds — bring your own or take advantage of the on-site concessions.
