La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts (La Mirada, CA)
The Young Artist Project assembles a group of talented young performers and gives them just 14 days to create, produce and present an evening of original theatre, music, dance and film. The 6th annual event brings eight talented young artists between the ages of 16 and 23 to the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts for two weeks of intensive writing, directing, acting and singing (including a grueling annual eight-hour midnight rehearsal). It all culminates in a unique, multi-disciplinary performance featuring one-act plays, musical numbers, films, performance pieces and more, offering a great opportunity to check out some of the brightest stars of tomorrow.
