Crown City Theatre has assembled a talented line-up of actors to perform British playwright J.B. Priestley’s mystery/thriller Dangerous Corner. The cast includes Seth Peterson (Burn Notice, Providence), Jordan Wall (The Glades, Harry’s Law), Matthew J. Williamson (Sedona) and Cortes Alexander (Broadway’s Liza’s at the Palace and Marilyn: An American Fable). The plot is a tricky one. Robert’s brother Martin committed suicide a year ago and the publishing firm they both worked for believed it was because he had stolen money. At a dinner party at Robert’s home in the country with several employees of the firm, one of the publisher’s authors brings up the suicide and slowly the truth about Martin is revealed. Aided by the ghost of Martin who comments on the action in song and prods the company into revealing more and more about the night of his death, the plot take a whirlwind ride into the truth about each of the participants and into what ultimately lead to Martin’s demise. Was it suicide, murder or something else?
