Linwood Dunn Theater (Hollywood, CA)

The boundaries of the film medium are stretched, ignored and even laughed at in these experimental shorts that manipulate sight, sound, narrative and the relationship between filmmaker and spectator. Short films presented in this special program at the Linwood Dunn Theater include Night Mulch & Very, Pencil Booklings, Babobilicons, Background, Madame Mao’s Lost Love Letters, Furies, Sonoma and Asparagus. This screening is part of the inaugural Film-to-Film Festival, part of Project Film-to-Film, which is aimed at preserving as many films on film as possible over a two-year period.
