Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh are starring in Good Newwz along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani. The film is a map cap comedy that talks about IVF and how a big twist changes the lives of the couples. While the promotions are on in full swing, the two lead actors decided to undergo a simulated labour pain test.
On Saturday, Akshay and Diljit shared a video where they decided to take the test and understand what a woman goes through. “A small step to understand what mothers go through by @diljitdosanjh & me. Dil se – RESPECT to all the mummies out there, delivering #GoodNewwz is harder than anyone can imagine,” Akshay wrote on Instagram.
As soon the electrical simulator was switched on, the two of them started screaming in agony. Diljit is heard saying, “Oh mereya parmatma (Oh my god).” “Sabhi mummiyon ko bahut bahut pyaar aur jhukh ke pranam (Lots of love to all the mothers and I bow my head in gratitude),” Diljit said after the test.
Directed by Raj Mehta, Good Newwz is scheduled to be released on December 27.
