Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Anurag Kashyap, Lydia Pilcher producer of Reluctant Fundamentalist, Namesake, Cedomir Kolar producer of Oscar winning No Man's Land and Dar Motion Pictures have come together for Lunch Box. The film which has already begun shooting is being directed by Ritesh Batra starring Irrfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Nimrat Kaur.
One of India's truly international films, Lunch Box is a love story set in Mumbai between a young housewife and a middle aged man. It is a story of a beautiful relationship triggered by a wrong delivery of one in 8 million lunch boxes that is delivered daily by Mumbai's now famous Dabbawallas.
Anurag confirms Lunch Box is a fantastic script. It brings together the best of talent of Irrfan and Nawazuddin. Arun Rangachari, chairman Dar Motion Pictures says, "Lunch Box as a film has huge potential as it is a high content film. We have partnered with best talent across the globe for it."
