Kres Mersky presents her solo show Isadora Duncan: A Unique Recital, which tells the story of revolutionary performer Duncan. Widely credited as the inventor of modern dance, the flamboyant Duncan was also known for her provocative views on women’s rights, art, love and education. This fascinating show captures Duncan near the end of her remarkable life, when she had retired from the stage and was struggling to raise money for her school of dance. Mersky is known as a writer of poetic and passionate one-woman shows, including The Life and Times of A. Einstein.
