The Hamilton Police Service Homicide Unit, assisted by Division 30 Detectives, continued to investigate the disappearance of Daniel Baffoh. Investigators have now been able to determine Daniel was murdered and his body is believed to have been disposed of in a river or pond.
Hamilton Police have arrested and charged the following:
Mark Langille, 45 years of Hamilton, charged with First Degree Murder.
Damian Langille, 22 years, charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder.
Daniel is believed to have been killed in Hamilton and his body may have been disposed of outside of Hamilton. It is possible he was put in the Grand River. His body has not been recovered.
Police are asking residents living along the Grand River to be vigilant as the ice melts for Daniel’s body. Any possible sightings should be reported to their local police service right away.
The investigation into the murder of Daniel Baffoh continues.
