Lodewijk Asscher, quartermaster of the Temporary Emergency Fund Energy, is pleased that the Emergency Fund contributes to alleviating energy concerns. “Stress about high energy costs has a huge impact on your life,” he says.

Collaboration of Energy Companies and Government

The fund is a collaboration between various energy companies and the government. The government will contribute a maximum of 25 million euros. Energy companies such as Eneco, Essent, Greenchoice and Vattenfall also do this together.
