Aishwarya on her part has been a regular feature on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival while recently, the French government even conferred the actress with an a civilian award for her contribution to the arts.
Now we hear that the French government will specially invite Aishwarya for the Cannes Film Festival scheduled later this year which will also celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema. Commenting on the same, the French Ambassador to India, Francois Richier stated that Aishwarya is always respected in France because of her association with the Cannes film festival.
