Canada will take on Norway in the next match of 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. In their last 5 games, Canada has the upper hand with 4 wins and 1 loss.
Canada played their previous game against Switzerland and had to suffer a loss with 2-3 after needing a shootout to decide. After trailing 1-0 after first period, they score 2 unanswered goals but Switzerland scored the equalizer with just under 7 minutes to level the score, and the rest is history. Jordan Eberle is their best scorer with 3 points in 2 games.
While, Norway had won their last game against Denmark on Sunday with 3-2. They took 7 penalties but managed to kill all, but were not able to on any of their 6 PP opportunities. Norway’s best scorer so far is Anders Bastianssen with 3 points. Norway is currently standing on 6 points after two games and with a victory in this game will pave their way to the playoffs.
