Canada will face Belarus in their next match. In their last 5 games, Canada has managed to win all 5.

Belarus had to suffer a loss against Sweden 1-2 and sit 6^th in their group with 3 points in their pocket. They have had 3 days of rest since their match against Sweden and would be fresh to play this game. They are ranked 12^th on both the PP and the PK. Belarus get the least pucks on goal of all teams with fewer than 20 shots per game on average. Alexander Kitarov is their best scorer with 2 points.

Canada comes from a win against Sweden 3-0 and sits in 2^nd place with 10 points and proved that the bounce back game against Norway after their loss to Switzerland wasn’t a coincidence. They allow the least amount of goals per game with only 5 goals allowed to the opposition in 4 games.  Steven Stamkos is their best scorer with 7 points. Canada is trailing Switzerland in group and will finish behind them if they end up on the same point due to their loss to Switzerland. They need to collect additional points than them to secure the top seed in the group.
