Kentwood Players present an audience favorite, Ken Ludwig’s hilarious Lend Me a Tenor. Nominated for seven Tony Awards and six Drama Desk Awards, this broad comedy follows Henry Saunders, a Cleveland opera impresario, as he fumbles his way through a series of mishaps to ensure that the show does indeed go on. Director Gail Bernardi and the nimble cast will have audience members roaring with laughter when the 1934 opera gala fundraiser dissolves into a chain of disasters, resulting in mistaken identities, comically-timed entrances and exits and saucy innuendos, as anything that can go wrong does so with a bang.
