USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Hrithik Roshan underwent a brain surgery today afternoon. The actor reportedly had a clot on the surface of his brain, which was successfully removed with a surgery, at the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai.
Dr VK Mishra, who was attending to the actor, confirmed that the operation had been successful and said that Hrithik was fully conscious. Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan also confirmed that the surgery was successful and that Hrithik will be discharged from the hospital in next 2 days.
News is that Hrithik had injured himself on the head while doing a stunt scene few months ago. He had been complaining of headaches ever since. After MRI scans, it was discovered that Hrithik had what is known as chronic subdural hematoma in medical terms.
The actor was originally supposed to take off to Prague for the next schedule of his film Bang Bang with Katrina Kaif this week. The shoot for now is rescheduled to a later date. In a press statement, the producers of Bang Bang, Fox Star Studios, said, "Fox Star Studios joins millions of superstar Hrithik Roshan's fans and well wishers across the world in wishing him a speedy recovery. Hrithik's health and well-being is the top priority at this moment. As a consequence, the shoot of the upcoming third schedule of Siddharth Anand's Bang Bang has been moved forward. We shall update the dates of the new schedule at an opportune time."
Hrithik's next release will be his sci-fi superhero film Krrish 3 which releases on November 4.
