On Thursday, July 11th, Five Hole For Food will be hosting its annual street hockey game in Toronto, marking the halfway point of the 11,000km cross-Canada tour. Torontonians are invited to bring a hockey stick and a non-perishable food item to play a game of road hockey at Yonge & Dundas Square between 11 5pm. Five Hole For Food is a national, non-profit organization that raises food and awareness for food banks across Canada. From July 3rd July 20th, Five Hole and ING DIRECT will be visiting 13 cities in 18 days, playing street hockey to raise money for local food banks. Toronto is the seventh stop on the tour and the food raised will go to the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank. The goal this year is to raise 250,000lbs of food from coast-to-coast. Date: Thursday, July 11th, 2013 Time: 11am 5pm Location: Yonge & Dundas Square Bring: If you have your own hockey stick, feel free to bring it. If not, well have a stash on hand.
