It's been a long standing tradition at Amul to creatively conceptualize the current topics to fit their artistic advertising campaigns. With the sudden death of the Bollywood veteran Pran, Amul has come up with its tribute to the man who held the tinsel fort for eras alike!
The ad's caption says, "Pran khaye par makhan na jaye" which is a rehash of the famous dialogue 'pran jaaye par vachan na jaaye'. The ad's tagline aptly states Amul as 'Sher's Khana', which is again a reminiscent of Sher Khan- Pran's character's name the cult film Zanjeer. What is so remarkable about the ad is that while the Amul girl is sitting next to her beloved Pran, the 'people' surrounding them are none other than the icon characters that (late) Pran had played in all his films!
