If you missed Shakespeare, M.D. at the 2013 Toronto Fringe Festival this summer, now is the opportunity to catch the ensemble again in a totally new light: the Spur-Of-The-Moment Shakespeare Collective is showcasing the Shakespeare-In-Hospitals Project at the Winchester Kitchen & Bar for a Cabaret-Style performance, sharing their material and experiences within hospitals since their seasons start in July. The Shakespeare-In-Hospitals Project provides arts engagement as both distraction and relief to patients, clients, and communities in hospitals, hospices, senior residences and shelters throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Performances of Shakespearean scenes, monologues, and choral pieces are developed and performed for audiences in atriums, cafeterias, waiting rooms, and even in patients rooms throughout the year. Hear about the funny and the touching over a pint at the Winchester Kitchen & Bar September 20th, 21st, and 22nd. Admission: $10.00 The Winchester Kitchen & Bar, 51 Winchester Street All proceeds go towards the Shakespeare-In-Hospitals Project.
