Join us on November 11th for an evening of strikingly dynamic music, exciting artistic collaboration, delicious food and, as always, lots of laughter and merriment! . Over the past few months we have highlighted some of euphonias superb string talent with performances of concertos by Mozart and Bach. In November we are going to shine the spotlight onto several of our woodwind players, performing lively and virtuosic double concertos by Vivaldi, Albinoni and Cimarosa. These pieces will bring flutists, Christopher Lee and Mor Shargall; oboists, Marta Kosek and Heather Macdonald and French Horn players Roslyn Black and Damir Pavelic front and centre to share with us their impressive talents and musicianship. We will also return to a composer that we have been championing at our packed Lula Lounge shows, the fifth child and second son of JS Bach, Carl Philip Emanuel Bach. In case you were wondering about the talents of Mr. C.P.E., Mozart said of him He is the father, we are the children and we all know praise was hard won from Mozart. We will open our show with C.P.E. Bach’s Symphony in F and close with his E flat Symphony. This is music that we simply adore playing, says violinist, Aysel Taghi Zada it’s full of energy and drama. Its exciting and fun! euphonia will only be performing one show in November, and since we had full houses for our two October shows, we highly recommend you make a reservation to ensure you have a seat!
