USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Karismas secret behind being yummy mummy of B-townWhat is it that makes you the yummiest mummies of B-town?
(Laughs) These tags are quite funny. I simply endorse a healthy lifestyle. I do everything in moderation, like, I don't go gymming, but just take long walks or climb stairs regularly. I also do yoga. I love to eat especially biryani, fish curry and cup cakes but I control my eating habit. One should have whatever he/she likes, but should know their limit.

Your kids are growing up, have they seen any of your films?
Samaira is eight and Kiaan is three years old. Well actually, they haven't seen any of my movies. However, they have seen a few of my songs as well as the ones that feature my parents Babita and Randhir Kapoor and my sister Kareena.

You mentioned you love to eat. Do you cook anything special for your kids?
Both like eating very normal ghar ka khana. They binge on dal chawal, eat veggies, etc. I tweak certain Indian dishes, only to make them nutritious and interesting. When I make dahi kadhi for them, I add sweet corn to it. When making fish, I add broccoli and spinach. My idea is to make their food healthier.

Who is your favourite actress-turned yummy mummy?
I would say Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie because I like the way they balance their role of a mother along with their career.

You are quite a fashionista yourself. Do you look into the styling of your kids?
Not really. In fact, my daughter is into fashion. She has a great flair for styling. That's because she sees me indulging in it.

Are your children friends with any of the star kids?
Yes they are, but it's too personal to answer this. I would just say that they are friends with the kids of my contemporaries.

You are the ambassador of a hair colour brand. When was the last time you coloured your tresses?
I do it only if it is necessary for work related purposes. I did it about three months ago for the shoot of the Garnier Color Naturals campaign. Otherwise I don't like to colour my hair.

Have you ever had any 'hair-colour gone wrong' moments?
In the 90s, there was this fad of streaking your hair with different colours. I was a fan of the light blond highlights. Today, I feel it was really silly (laughs). I am glad that at this day and age, people stick to only one colour, when it comes to their hair.

Which Bollywood actress do you think has the best hair?
I like Dimple Kapadia's hair the most. She has the most beautiful luscious hair. And from the newer lot, I think Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor have the best and long hair.

Though a mother yourself, do you still feel the need to take advise from your mother?
I would say, listen to the tips offered by your mother and grandmother as their solutions are the best. They know it all! I go to my mother when in confusion. I like to take beauty and fashion advise from her.
