One day can change the world. On November 18th, Dignitas International and the Stephen Lewis Foundation will proudly launch the Give a Day campaign in the lead up to World AIDS Day. It is estimated 35 million people are currently living with HIV globally. More than two-thirds live in sub-Saharan Africa. Give a Day is a simple but powerful response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The campaign challenges each Canadian to recognize World AIDS Day on December 1st by giving one days pay to the Stephen Lewis Foundation or Dignitas International, organizations that have a strong record in effectively addressing the pandemic in Africa. The champion for the 2013 Give a Day campaign is Arlene Dickinson, CEO of Venture Communications and YouInc.com. Learn more at: www.giveaday.ca.
